What level will my child be in?
To ensure your child is placed in a class that best suits their needs and ablility, we provide a FREE assessment for every child over 3 years of age.
How long are the lessons?
Babies Level 1 classes up to Level 9 are a 30 minute class. Level 10 and up are 45 minute classes. Squad lessons vary see the squad page for further details.
What happens if there is a storm?
We follow Royal Lifesaving Guidelines and classes are cancelled if there is an electrical storm at Goodlife with serious risk or lightening in the area. Classes resume 30 minutes after the last strike of lightening in the area. If we cancel classes you will be notified by sms message to your nominated mobile number. In the event that a class is cancelled, a makeup lesson or swim pass will be offered.
Can my child swim before and/or after their lesson?
Children are able to swim in the outdoor pool before or after their lesson, during public swimming times. We do ask that they try to refrain from swimming before their lesson to save their energy for the class. We are unable to offer use of the indoor pool.
What do we need to bring?
It is highly recommended that parents/carers in baby level 1 and 2 classes wear a t-shirt in the pool. Children are taught to reach out independently and grab; wearing loose clothing makes this much easier. Children under the age of 3 years are required to wear a swim nappy in the pool at all times. Goggles and cap are recommended for children 3 years and up. During safety week children are asked to bring clothes to swim in and to swim without goggles.
Do you have change facilities?
We have beautiful facilities for both the indoor and outdoor pool areas that include heated showers and toilets.
What is Bubble Babies?
Bubble Babies is an informal in-water session for infants and children from ten weeks of age, aimed at introducing water awareness and familiarisation in a tranquil and stress-free environment. Our highly skilled Swim Australia qualified teacher will be on hand to answer your aquatic related questions and demonstrate water activities for you to practice at home. These sessions are more casual, rather than a class. Bookings are essential. The group size is larger than classes but numbers are limited.
Do you offer individual/private lessons?
