GROUP FITNESS - LATE CANCELLATION FEE
To ensure fairness and maximize class availability for all members, we are introducing a nominal no show/late cancellation fee of $5. This is for any class bookings where you do not sign in or are not cancelled within one hour prior to the scheduled class time. This fee will help us better manage class attendance and encourage accountability among our members.
GROUP FITNESS CANCELLATION POLICY
Objectives and Background
a) Goodlife Community Centre is committed to providing the best service in a timely manner. We aim to accommodate your needs.
b) Unfortunately, when a client cancels without giving adequate notice, it prevents another client from being served. This cancellation policy is used as a way of respecting the time commitment of all involved. It explains the process for requesting a cancellation and the fees applicable. This policy is used in fairness to both our business and the clients who would otherwise have wanted an appointment.
c) We are implementing a straightforward cancellation policy to be upfront about all the costs you may face when engaging our services.
Cancellation Process
a) We understand situations can arise in which you must cancel your appointment. Due to limited appointment availability, we request that you cancel with adequate notice. This allows us to fill that appointment slot.
b) The fastest way to cancel is via the Mindbody app. Alternatively, you may cancel a personal training session by contacting us on:
phone 0754442126;
or email gym.admin@goodlife.org.au.
c) We require a minimum of 2 hours' notice for cancellation. Please inform us by 2 hours prior to your scheduled appointment to notify us of any changes or cancellations.
d) If you can not attend due to an emergency or exceptional circumstances please give us notify Goodlife ASAP. If no prior notice is given or the notice given is not in accordance with the cancellation process, you will be charged a cancellation fee (see below) for the missed appointment.
e) Late arrivals can only be extended to the remaining time of the scheduled appointment. If you are 10minutes late past your appointment we will have to reschedule or cancel the appointment, which will incur a cancellation fee.
f) All references to cancellation of appointments in this clause are also a reference to rescheduling of appointments.
Cancellation Fee
a) The late cancellation fee is $5.
b) The cancellation fee will be charged fortnightly.
c) The cancellation fee may be deducted from any deposit paid for the appointment (if any). Or, via direct debit where applicable (if you're paying membership fees via direct debit)
d) The cancellation fee is the sole responsibility of the client and must be paid in full within 2 weeks after invoicing, or you may not be eligible to book ongoing services at Goodlife Community Centre.
Acceptable circumstances for waiving cancellation fees
a) We understand that plans may change due to uncontrollable and external circumstances. Missed appointments can be unintentional or may stem from an emergency, etc. Therefore, subject to approval by Goodlife Community Centre, cancellation due to such circumstances will not incur a cancellation fee. If we have not been notified of such circumstances, you will automatically be charged the late fee.
